About Me!

Crazy?  Yes, certifiably.  Gay?  Yep, sure am.  Lady?  That's me.

So let's start at the beginning.  A very good place to start, I hear.

LADY:  That's me.  Born that way with all my lady bits and a head that looked like a golf ball (according to my dad).  

To go along with this crazy gay lady I have a girlfriend, partner, lady friend, better half, whatever you want to call her.  For anonymity purposes we'll call her Sleeping Beauty.  She is kind, smart, and considerate.  We have a GREAT relationship.  We communicate well and rarely argue.  We have the same goals, outlook on life, and are excited for what the future holds for us.

Below are some interesting, or rater not so interesting things about me....

• I am a 30-ish year old (OK, I'm 35) woman living in the United States.
• I am a daughter, sister, girlfriend, and mother to dogs.
• As you know I am a lesbian, but don't let that scare you away.  We are normal people too!  Don't worry, I won't try to convert you.
• Aside from work I also attend classes at a community college. 
• I am gainfully employed and pay all my bills on time (although this wasn't always the case). 
• I have an AWESOME roommate, who I'll refer to as "Cady".
• I love to read but rarely have the time to do it.   My favorite book is The Bell Jar.
• I am a movie watcher.  I can watch the same movie over and over and over again.
• I'm strangely attracted to the trashy magazines you see in the checkout aisle. 
• I love to travel.  
• I'm a Disney fanatic and could talk to a wall about Disney all day long.  If you have a Disney question send it my way.  I'm always planning a Disney trip in my head even if I don't have a trip scheduled.
• The fall is my favorite season.  The leaves in my neck of the woods change so beautifully.   Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  My 3 favorite holidays.
• I hate buying clothes and shoes, so I am not your average woman.  When I do buy them I always second guess myself and usually end up returning them.
• I am tattooed and pierced.

WHY DO I BLOG?

I don't know.  Really!  I don't know.  I guess I do it as mental therapy.  It sure is a heck of a lot cheaper than real therapy.  If I figure it out I'll let you know.
